Dinky

Alejandra Iglesias (aka Dinky) was Born in Chile, she hung out with the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Dandy Jack and others in the mid-‘90s when she was first getting into dance music. Then, when she moved to New York on a dance scholarship, she got caught up with the Minus crew, just as Magda and Richie Hawtin were first hanging out in Gotham in the late ‘90s. After visa issues in the wake of 9/11, Dinky made her way to Berlin, where she has taken her career to the next level via relentless touring.

Nina Kraviz

Nina Kraviz's productions are just sexy as hell what can I say. She brings along a feminine feeling together with a beat that never lets you go. Thanks Nina, respect!

Maya Jane Coles

Of course I have to list Maya, who at her early 20's is already standing out internationally and setting precedent. Maya is a great producer and an excellent DJ.

Kate Wax

Kate Wax is the alter ego of Aisha Devi Enz, the Swiss-born, half-Tibetan, totally-driven, self-producing avant-garde singer-songwriter that gifted the world with her Reflections of the Dark Heat debut album via Switzerland's ambassadors of cool Mental Groove back in 2006. And now, after a natural break for baby-making and subsequent months spent holed up with her beloved machines in her cosy studio cave, Aisha finds herself ready to dust off her Kate Wax persona and return to the dancefloor fray to unveil a bold new collection of dark, unconventional electronic post-pop going by the name of 'Dust Collision'.

Sandra Kolstad

Sandra Kolstad (Oslo, Norway)

I've discovered Sandra while checking the Insomnia Festival in Oslo. A festival of techno culture. Sandra Kolstad released her album CRUX in April 2011 and apparently got good critics and they call her the queen of Norwegian electronic music. Sandra gives new life to synths and drums and makes musical landscapes that it’s easy to dance yourself away, even get lost in.
